How this calculator works
We use the component-reduction method: reduce the month, day and year separately, keeping 11, 22 and 33 whenever one is reached. Add those three results and reduce again, keeping 11, 22 or 33.
Example: December 29, 1990. Month: 12 → 3. Day: 29 → 11. Year: 1990 → 19 → 10 → 1. Add 3 + 11 + 1 = 15, then 1 + 5 = 6.
Numerology methods vary. Adding every birth-date digit at once or handling master numbers differently can produce a different master-number result. Showing each step makes our method clear.
What are master numbers?
In the convention used here, 11, 22 and 33 are kept as two-digit results. They are symbolic themes, not rankings: a master number does not make someone better, more gifted or destined for success.
